The greyhound in Italian culture is used as an emblem at the feet of the effigies of gentlemen, symbolizing the knightly virtues, occupations, specifically hunting, and generally represent the aristocratic way of life.
Amedeo’s Ristarante will be the proprietor of Amedeo's Greyhound, a beautifully delicious cocktail made of Vodka and grapefruit juice and is served on the rocks.
A portion of every Amedeo’s Greyhound that is sold will be directed to the greyhound adoption group James River Greyhounds. James River Greyhounds has been dedicated to finding responsible, caring homes for retired racing greyhounds in Central Virginia since 1989. We have found "forever homes" for more than 1750 greyhounds - and counting.
